Wine festivals are sprouting up all over the Garden State, due to their incredible popularity these past few years, especially some of the most popular throughout the state, the Jersey Shore and Waretown Wine Festivals.

The organizers of those two have now announced the launch of a new one for the state and South Jersey, the Cuisine on the Green Wine Festival, which will take place on Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3.

Hosted at the Cuisine on the Green at Atlantis in Little Egg Harbor, the festival will take place on both days from 12 noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The two-day wine festival will feature samplings of dozens of varieties of wine from a selection of award-winning New Jersey wineries.

Attendees can enjoy live musical entertainment from local musicians, as well as peruse booths by crafters and retail vendors. There will also be an assortment of food available for purchase.

The cost to attend is $15 in advance or $25 at the gate for those over 21. A two-day ticket will also be available for $25 in advance, $30 at the gate.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the programs of the Ocean County Foundation for Vocational and Technical Excellence.
