Back by much demand and fanfare next year will be the Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold’s annual Soup-er Bowl Sunday, a fundraiser that celebrates America’s most popular sports event, while raising money to benefit the community.
This year’s Soup-er Bowl event, sponsored by CentraState Healthcare System, will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on February 3, 2019, at the Freehold YMCA, located at 470 East Freehold Road.
For a donation of $6.00 per quart, or four quarts for $20, attendees can purchase delicious homemade chilis and soups.
Funds raised go to benefit youth activities in the community, including the Oratorical Contest, Camp Quality, scholarships and more.
