The Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold will once again hold its popular Super Bowl Sunday event cheekily and aptly titled Souper Bowl Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The annual event celebrates our countrys beloved sports spectacle, the Super Bowl, while bringing an assortment of homemade chilis and , you guessed it, soups!
This years Souper Bowl Sunday will take place at the Freehold YMCA (479 East Freehold Rd.) for a donation of $6 per quart or four quarts for $20.
All funds raised will go to benefit youth activities in the community, which include the Oratorical Contest, Camp Quality, scholarships and more.
