Holmdel, NJ – Pacific Encore Performances, an internationally acclaimed musical repertory company based in New York and Monmouth County New Jersey, is thrilled to announce a premiere television special being filmed for summer viewing on NJN Network. The special will also be offered for viewership on other PBS stations. Pacific Encore Performances has an international ensemble of 21 singers who perform the worlds most beloved melodies, including Broadway, opera, operetta, Cabaret, folk songs, spirituals, and more.
The television special will feature the entire company plus a special orchestra and will take audiences on a spectacular musical journey. Filming will take place on January 17, 18 and 19 in the magnificent Wilson Hall at Monmouth University, which was also featured as the home of Daddy Warbucks in the movie Annie. Additional ballroom segments will be filmed later at private estates in the area.
Pacific Encore Performances, a 501(c)3 corporation, is best described as the United Nations of song. The unique musical repertory company consists of multi-lingual singers who originate from around the globe. They perform concerts in private and public venues throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area and overseas. The repertory company gives emerging singers essential theatrical training and performance experience.
