In support of the organizations ongoing commitment in fighting domestic violence, Applebees will be hosting a special Flapjack Fundraiser breakfast for Dotties House on Saturday, March 15 at its Brick location.

The Flapjack Fundraiser will present a full breakfast that includes a short stack of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and a beverage of choice, such as coffee, tea or juice.

All proceeds raised during the breakfast fundraiser will go to support the Ocean County-based non-profit, which since 1999 has been working determinedly to end the cycle of violence against women and children by empowering them to become self-sufficient and free from violence.

The organization, founded by Carol A. Wolfe, provides safe housing for women and children who have survived domestic violence, and operates 16 two- and three-bedroom apartments and a one-bedroom efficiency. It is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justices Office of Violence Against Women as one of only two programs of its kind in the nation.

The Dotties House Flapjack Fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebees restaurant located at 52 Brick Plaza, Brick, N. J., starting at 8 a.m. through 10 a.m.

Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $10 and are available by calling Dotties House at (732) 295-7380, or can be purchased at the door.
