Women Business Owners Group Starts New Year on a Positive Note

Holmdel, NJ January 8, 2013… Women business owners throughout Central New Jersey are invited to start the new year off with the National Association of Women Business Owners, Central Jersey (NAWBO-CJ). NAWBO-CJ will host a dinner meeting with a guest speaker and networking on Tuesday, January 15 from 6:00 9:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, 50 Raritan Parkway, Edison, NJ 08837

The topic of the event is One Voice Can Make a Difference in the World! featuring Sylvia Allen, Founder and CEO of Sylvias Children, who will share her success founding and running the nonprofit Sylvias Children. When asked who should attend this event, Allen answered “anyone that wants to succeed, whether they run a for-profit or non-profit organization.” Allen, who has run her own PR firm, Allen Consulting, for the last 35 years, has also been successful in building a model school in Uganda. She has raised over $700,000 almost single handedly to build a library, teachers housing, medical clinic, well, chicken farm … the list goes on and on.
