The Lakewood BlueClaws will host the eighth annual Jersey Shore Wine Festival at Lakewoods FirstEnergy Park, on Saturday, June 9th through Sunday, June 10th and tickets are now on sale through Groupon and Eventbrite.
The exciting two-day festival features samplings from a variety of award-winning wineries from throughout the Garden State. Some of those that will be returning for this years event will include Monroeville, DiMatteo and Valenzano, to mention a few.
In addition to tastings of delicious wine, there will also be live entertainment featuring the Crabdaddy Band and solo guitarist, Astronaut Jones, as well as crafters, retail vendors, and food truck vendors.
The festival is held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. ET., rain or shine.
The cost to attend is $20 in advance or $30 at the gate for those over 21. A two-day ticket will also be available for $30 pre-sale or $40 at the door.
All net proceeds will be donated to Sylvias Children, a Holmdel-based 501(c)3 organization working over the past 15 years to improve the living conditions for more than 1,000 children in Mbiriizi, Uganda, Africa.
