Grand Opening Set for Saturday, May 29th at Historic Butler Building

AITKIN, MN. One of Aitkins most popular weekly attractions will return this Memorial Weekend, Saturday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the parking lot of the historic Butler Building (301 Minnesota Avenue North).

The Farmers Market, now in its fourth year, is putting out the call to all local musicians interested in showcasing their dynamic talent. The Farmers Market offers a wonderful stage for musicians to present their musical talents to the local community and surrounding areas.

Over the past few years, the Farmers Market has featured countless talent from powerful solo performers to instrumentalists and even duos and trios.

A robust selection of delightful and tasty Minnesota offerings, including everything from baked goods, eggs and organic produce to handmade soaps, jellies and jams, flowers and herbs, dog treats, and yarn and wool products, can be found at this years Farmers Market.

If you would like to apply to perform this year, you can contact Sylvia Allen, Building Owner, at 218-678-2441, to let her know you are interested. There are many opportunities available. Compensation will be offered to those selected.

The Aitkin Farmers Market is held every Saturday through Labor Day Weekend.
